Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by Curby™, a service licensed under Locate NZ Limited.

 

By completing a booking or payment, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Service Commitment

Curby™ provides residential address visibility markings applied to the curb using outdoor marking paint and stencils.

 

Payment secures your place within a scheduled neighbourhood installation run.

Cancellations

Change of Mind (Before Scheduling)

 

Cancellations requested within 24 hours of payment may be eligible for a full refund.

After Scheduling Confirmation

Once your installation has been allocated to a scheduled service run in your area:

 

  • Cancellations may incur an administrative fee, or

  • May be issued as a credit for a future installation

Refunds

Refunds are considered under the following conditions:

Eligible for Refund

  • Cancellation within 24 hours of payment

  • Service unable to be delivered by Curby™

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Change of mind after scheduling has been confirmed

  • Failure to provide access to the property

  • Incorrect or incomplete address details provided

  • Service already completed

Installation Scheduling

Curby™ operates on a neighbourhood-based rollout model.

 

This means:

 

  • Installations are grouped by area for efficiency

  • Your service will be completed within the next scheduled run for your location

 

Specific dates may vary depending on demand and operational factors.

Weather Conditions
 

Installations are subject to suitable weather conditions to ensure quality and durability.

 

Where weather impacts scheduling:

 

  • Your installation will be rescheduled to the next available suitable day

  • No refunds will be issued due to weather-related delays

Access Requirements

Customers must ensure:

 

  • Clear and safe access to the installation area

  • No obstructions preventing application

 

If installation cannot be completed due to access issues:

 

  • A return visit may be scheduled

  • Additional fees may apply

Quality Assurance

If you are not satisfied with the completed service:

 

  • Please contact us within 7 days of installation

  • We will assess and, where appropriate, arrange a correction
